Nada Yoga
(science of sound and meditation)

Group Classes on Music, Yoga and Meditation

Nada Yoga means "union through sound," the ancient spiritual art and science of inner transformation through sound and tone. Meditation on sound is one universal path to Self Realization. Humans in ancient societies used music and sound as a means to attain spiritual healing. They used music and sound to also heal the body of certain mental and physical illnesses. Although today there is scientific evidence that music has great power in healing, many are either not aware of it or they are not interested.

The nada yoga classes taught at our school combines the ancient philosophy of yoga, yog asanas, live music and meditation.

Testimonials

"Oliver brings his unique expertise on yoga and music to the world of mental and physical healing sciences. He connects with his students and patients at a very deep level allowing change to take place naturally. As a couple involved in the field of healing, I enjoy working with Oliver in bringing positive change to others each day. " Anita Jung Rajamani (LPC), (DAPA) Director of Counseling services

"Rajamani uses deep, repetitive hypnotic rhythms to ground the listener's consciousness to the earth, and soaring melodic passages to release it to the heavens beyond. In so doing, he activates what I believe are the two different aspects of the creative unconscious: the mammalian body unconscious "beneath and before" the verbal processes of the conscious mind, and the transpersonal generative unconscious "beyond description." Stephen Gilligan Ph.D. leading licensed Psychologist and Author, "Therapeutic Trances"

I have been diagnosed as having Parkinson's Disease for almost five years. I find that meditation and particularly the meditation associated with Nada Yoga is very helpful in calming the senses and the symptoms associated with Parkinson's. I highly recommend Oliver as a world class musician, and teacher " George B. Mading
